Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Photo Cleanup, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of service

Photo Cleanup is a photo management utility for iPhone that helps users identify and review duplicate and similar photos. The app provides tools to review photo groups and remove unwanted copies through Apple's standard deletion flow.

Photo library access

Photo Cleanup requires access to your photo library to function. This access is used solely to analyze photos for duplicates and similar images. All processing occurs on your device. You can revoke photo library access at any time through your iPhone's Settings.

Deletion and recovery

When you delete photos through Photo Cleanup, those photos are moved to the Recently Deleted album in Apple Photos. Apple retains these photos for approximately 30 days before permanent deletion. Photo Cleanup does not bypass this standard Apple Photos behavior.

Photo Cleanup is not responsible for photos that are permanently deleted after the Recently Deleted retention period expires.

In-app purchases

Photo Cleanup offers optional in-app purchases (Photo Cleanup Pro) that unlock additional features. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

Free tier

The free version of Photo Cleanup includes 3 cleanup sessions per day with access to all detection types. No account registration is required.

Disclaimer of warranties

Photo Cleanup is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to accurately identify duplicate and similar photos, the app may occasionally group photos incorrectly. Always review selections before confirming deletion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, byAlif shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Photo Cleanup, including but not limited to loss of photos or data.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law
