Photo Cleanup is built with privacy as a core principle. Your photos are analyzed entirely on your device. No photos, thumbnails, or image data are ever uploaded to any server.

What data we collect

Photo analysis

Photo Cleanup accesses your photo library through Apple's Photos framework to detect duplicate and similar photos. All analysis — including hashing, Vision framework feature extraction, and burst grouping — happens on your iPhone. No image data leaves your device.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the app experience. This data does not include any photo content, file names, or personally identifiable information. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

Purchase information

If you purchase Photo Cleanup Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

What data we do not collect

• Photos, thumbnails, or image data
• Photo metadata (location, date, camera details)
• Contact information from your photos
• Face recognition data
• Browsing history or app usage from other apps

Third-party services

Photo Cleanup does not share any data with third-party advertising networks. We do not use third-party analytics that track individual users.

Data retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Anonymized usage statistics are retained for product improvement purposes only.

Children's privacy

Photo Cleanup does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account or collect personal information.
